24.10.2024

Scaffolding has multiple uses, which is why we categorize it according to various parameters. Today, we’ll look at the Jobsite series from the Canadian brand Metaltech, commonly referred to as mobile scaffolding (thanks to its simplicity and versatility for both household and professional use).

The Jobsite series of mobile scaffolding is made of steel and designed for indoor use. Its key features include high load capacity, compact dimensions, and quality craftsmanship.

Today, we will introduce the Jobsite series, its model range, and discuss who it’s designed for and its main advantages.

The designations Jobsite 4´, 5´, and originate from the imperial system and refer to the height in feet (4 feet x 30.48 cm = 121.92 cm). This height represents the highest horizontal level of the scaffolding.

The series starts with the Jobsite 4´ scaffolding, the smallest mobile scaffold with a reach of 2.7 m and a weight of 26.8 kg. It features two independent platforms with a combined load capacity of up to 227 kg. The package includes a tool shelf and safety rails. It consists of a frame, 2 platforms, 4 wheels (10 cm diameter), and safety rails. Its steel construction makes it compact and very sturdy. It can also be used as a cart for transporting materials when the platforms are set at the lowest level of 25 cm. It’s an ideal helper for apartment renovations and everyday household tasks.

The Jobsite 5´ scaffolding is the best-selling scaffold in its class. It has a reach of 3 m and a load capacity of up to 408 kg across three independent platforms. With a width of 128 cm and a depth of 79 cm, it is very maneuverable. It fits through doorways and standard elevators. In its folded state, it can be transported in a car trunk. A tool shelf with a load capacity of 16 kg and safety rails are included in the package. No tools are required to assemble this scaffold.

The Jobsite 6´ scaffolding is commonly used by professionals due to its dimensions. With a reach of 3.6 m, it has a width of 190.5 cm and a height of 198.9 cm. Despite its size, the steel construction ensures it remains compact. Like the Jobsite 5´, it features three independent platforms that can be positioned separately, creating steps for easy access without additional ladders. The scaffold’s frame is a single piece, with sturdy 13 cm wheels attached. Its heavier weight is no issue, as it can be easily moved to the desired location, even in its folded state. A key advantage is its exceptional load capacity of up to 385 kg (136 kg per platform).

The Jobsite 6´ BAKER scaffold is a uniquely designed model with several advantages. Height adjustments range from 68.6 cm to 185 cm, with increments every 5 cm. Independent height adjustments on each side allow use on stairs. It can be stacked up to 3 units high, reaching up to 7.5 m with the required accessories. In its disassembled state, it consists of 5 parts and can be assembled by one person without tools. This steel scaffold supports up to 454 kg and weighs 51.6 kg. Following the user manual guidelines, workers can climb it from the outside. Additional accessories include a pass-through platform for safe climbing and safety rails for work at heights over 1.5 m.
